Marcus Collier is Group President of the Systems Engineering Group (SEG), one of Anteon’s three strategic business units. SEG is a leading provider of professional services and information technology solutions for the Department of the Navy, NAVSEA and Marine Corps, the Missile Defense Agency, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the US Army Reserve.
Mr. Collier joined Anteon in June 1997 as a Department Manager supporting the Aegis Destroyer program. During his eight years there, he served in several management positions, and was instrumental in expanding Anteon’s presence into other shipbuilding programs as well as securing training and information technology contracts in the Navy, DHS, and the US Army Reserves. SEG is an established key resource in the Navy and US Coast Guard shipbuilding programs, and a leading-edge provider of Information Technology solutions within the Department of Defense and DHS.
Prior to joining Anteon, Mr. Collier held engineering and management positions at PRC, a professional services corporation in Washington, DC. During his last three years at PRC, he served as the Program Management Core Competency Director, assessing the overall corporate efficiency, identifying industry best practices, and bringing them into the corporation through comprehensive training programs and internal process improvements.
Mr. Collier holds a bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a Masters of Business Administration degree in International Finance from George Washington University.
